160 players from different Asian countries took part at the KCF Asia Pacific 2023 Rapid Tour competition. Jayden Wong (2348) became the winner of the Garry Kasparov Cup. Michael Khodarkovsky, President of the Kasparov Chess Foundation, attended the tournament and presented the cup and prizes to the winners.

The tournament was organized & sponsored by Kasparov Chess Foundation Asia Pacific (KCFAP). The objective of KCFAP is to catalyse and promote the adoption of chess in education in the Asia-Pacific region. The Singapore Leg is jointly managed by Chess Academy (Singapore) Pte Ltd and KCFP. Celebrating it’s 10th anniversary, Kasparov Chess Foundation Asia-Pacific Pte Ltd (KCFAP) was incorporated in Singapore and launched by Garry Kasparov on November 16, 2013. The Foundation has already made a tremendous impact on chess education in the Asia-Pacific region.
