Congratulations to Brandon Jacobson, Young Stars program participant, who just completed his requirements for the IM title.\u00a0Brandon has been on a roll this summer, quickly gaining rating points in every tournament he has participated. His eyes are now set on the next goal: grandmaster!<\/p>\n

Hi family has sent us the following e-mail:<\/p>\n

“Dear Michael (Khodarkovsky -ed), Mr Kasparov, KCF, and GM Chernin<\/p>\n

My son, Brandon Jacobson, earned 4 IM norms during the past month and now qualifies for the International Master title. At age 14, this makes him the current youngest IM in the U.S.
\nWe cannot thank you enough, for your support and dedication to his chess success.<\/p>\n
