Record-Breaking Turnout for Kasparov Chess Foundation’s 11th Annual All Girls Chess Championships

More Than 330 K – 12 Students Across The Country Competed — And All Are Winners.

New York, NY, April 16, 2014 — Kasparov Chess Foundation held its 2014 All Girls Scholastic Championships this past weekend at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Northbrook, IL, and scored a checkmate in terms of attendance with more than 320 students competing. The Foundation organized and sponsored the tournament in association with local chess organization Renaissance Knights Foundation and the United States Chess Federation (USCF).
